🍀 Meet Lucky

Lucky is a beautiful 16.2hh, 5-year-old gelding by Lucky Speed who never made it to the racecourse for the very simple reason that he was just far too chilled out about the whole racing thing!

He is without doubt one of the most straightforward, uncomplicated and easygoing horses we’ve had arrive at the yard in a long time. He is an absolute sweetheart, a real gentleman and good to do in all respects.

Lucky has already had a lovely education. He has been ridden and beautifully schooled by his trainer’s wife, which really shows in the way he carries himself and works under saddle. He has also been out cross-country, happily tackling banks, ditches, drains and a variety of XC fences.

He really does have all the ingredients to make somebody a fabulous quality riding horse — a superb temperament, a lovely way of going and plenty of ability to go on and enjoy a job.

I can see him making a brilliant all-rounder for someone wanting a smart, fun and genuinely lovely horse to enjoy.

Most importantly, Lucky is a true gent who deserves an equally fabulous long-term home. ❤️
