Welcome Sal to the Spiteri Retraining Team 🌟

We're delighted to introduce Sal, a beautiful 16.1hh, 6-year-old mare by Starspangledbanner, who has recently arrived from Hong Kong through the Hong Kong Jockey Club's Restart Programme.

Originally bred in Australia, Sal has raced in Hong Kong and is now beginning her next chapter. As one of the Hong Kong Jockey Club's overseas retraining partners, Spiteri Retraining is proud to help her find a long-term home beyond racing.

Sal is currently enjoying some well-earned downtime in the field after her long journey and will begin her retraining at the start of August. She is a lovely mare to handle, beautifully put together, and has all the attributes of a quality event horse.

We're excited to see what the future holds for this special mare and can't wait to get started with her. Follow her journey as her retraining gets underway in August!
