🌟 Welcome Mr. Wong Choy to the Spiteri Retraining Team 🌟

We're delighted to introduce Mr. Wong Choy, a handsome 16hh, 6-year-old gelding who has recently arrived from Hong Kong through the Hong Kong Jockey Club's Restart Programme.

Originally bred in Ireland, Mr. Wong Choy began his racing career there before enjoying a successful spell racing in Hong Kong. Now back in the UK, he is ready to start the next chapter of his life, and Spiteri Retraining is proud to be one of the Hong Kong Jockey Club's overseas retraining partners, helping him prepare for a long-term home beyond racing.

Currently enjoying some well-earned downtime in the fields of West Wales, Mr. Wong Choy will begin his retraining later this summer before becoming available to the right home.

It is impossible not to fall in love with this horse. He is an absolute gentleman in every sense of the word—kind, affectionate, and impeccably mannered both in the stable and on the ground. He simply wants to be around people and enjoys every bit of attention he receives. He also arrived with a glowing report from his early retraining in Hong Kong, where he proved himself to be a pleasure to work with, and we're excited to continue that journey here.

Mr. Wong Choy is not yet available, but we expect him to be looking for his forever home towards the end of the summer once his ridden retraining is underway. We can't wait to share his progress over the coming weeks.
