Dennis (Available)

This very handsome 5-year-old 16.3hh gelding has joined us to find his forever home.

By the famous sire Dark Angel, Dennis has spent the last 12 months at the British Racing School, where he's been helping to teach young jockeys. While he's been a brilliant teacher, he's just not quite the right fit for the racing school, so he's now looking for a new chapter outside of the racing world. He is 5 years old and is just shy of 16.3hh.

He's already proving himself to be a lovely, genuine lad. He's very nicely put together, in fantastic condition, and has all the ingredients to make someone a wonderful horse. He's simply not suited to wibbly-wobbly novice riders and would thrive with someone happy to put a little time and education into him. He works very nicely in the school, strikes off on the correct lead and will stand around for kisses and nibbles all day.

Dennis has been hacking out both alone and in company and is proving to be a very sensible ride for his age with just the odd spook here and there. He's been out to the beach this week and has behaved beautifully- loading and travelling nicely with a gang of horses on board and was happy to play in the sea, stand quietly and head off on his own away from the group when asked.

He has a capped hock so may not be suitable for county level showing.

He is available now to a long term home where we can keep in touch and follow his progress. Having run in the UK, he is eligible for all RoR classes and leagues.
