A LOVELY 8-YEAR-OLD GELDING READY FOR HIS NEXT CHAPTER

8yo | Approx. 16hh | Gelding | Ex-Flat Racehorse

Meet Red, a lovely eight-year-old gelding who is now looking forward to a new chapter and a life in the slightly slower lane outside of racing.

Having spent his racing career on the flat, Red ran his final race on 5th September and retires from the sport sane, sound and injury-free.

With a clean bill of health and plenty of life ahead of him, there is no reason why this lovely horse shouldn't go on to enjoy a successful second career across a variety of equestrian disciplines.

Red is due to arrive at Spiteri Retraining next week, where he will begin his assessment and retraining under saddle. Further updates, photographs and details of his ridden abilities will be shared once we've had the opportunity to get to know him properly.

Ultimately, we would love to find Red a fantastic long-term home where he can enjoy a varied and fulfilling life, whether that's hacking, schooling, competing or simply heading off on adventures with his new person.

Coming soon – further details to follow once assessed.

As always, finding the right long-term home will be our priority.
