✨ Tina Turnaround – the name says it all ✨

I’ve put off writing this advert for a few weeks (largely because I quite like having her around), but it’s time for this cracking mare to find her long-term partner.

Meet Tina Turnaround – a 16.1hh, 7-year-old mare with all the ingredients to make a seriously fun and competitive horse.

Tina is a homebred mare who arrived from Ireland around eight weeks ago and has slotted into yard life as if she’s always been here. She’s confident, capable, and absolutely loves having a job – the sort that wakes up in the morning thinking, “Right, what are we doing today then?”

She’s bonny, brave, and talented, with both the looks and the brain.

Recently she took part in our open day, happily performing in front of 50+ people, completely unfazed by tannoys, spectators, or general chaos – she just got on with it like a pro.

Before coming over, Tina had a short career in point-to-point racing, but decided it wasn’t quite her calling. She retired sound, injury-free, and without any vices – just a mare who had other plans in life.

On the ground, she’s a pleasure to have around – straightforward and easy, with just enough sass to remind you she’s an independent woman with opinions (all very manageable, but worth mentioning!).

Now, let’s be clear – Tina is not a first horse, and she won’t be heading off with a novice rider or someone lacking confidence. She’s a quality Thoroughbred mare who deserves a capable, competent rider who will enjoy what she offers rather than be surprised by it.

For the right person, though, she’s an absolute gem.

She loves her jumping – careful, brave, and unphased by fillers, ditches, drains… if you can point her at it, she’ll have a go. She’d make a super team chaser or a very smart event horse, with the brain and attitude to match her ability. She's been out to XC where she absolutely loved it - jumping anything and everything.

Out hacking, she’s equally game – happy to lead, happy to follow, and generally takes life in her stride.

While she’d thrive in a competitive home, she’d also happily turn her hoof to endurance, fun rides, or general adventuring – she just enjoys getting out and doing something.

She’s got no vices, no issues, and no drama – just a genuine, talented mare who needs a job and someone to enjoy her.
