Ella

Janella Du Plessis (Ella) is a beautiful, French bred trotter who is just SO uncomplicated we'd really like her to stay!

Shes about 16.1hh and is built like a tank! She's got a leg in each corner and has got a serious amount of bone! Shes 7 years old and has been run in harness and under saddle (as a trotter - not traditional racing) in France.

She is absolute pleasure to do in all ways and is quickly picking up her new job as a riding horse. She is just learning about cantering under saddle and is trying her best and starting to understand the aids to canter.

She is hacking alone and in company and isnt phased about going in front, behind or in the middle. She will make a serious endurance horse with her big movement and a level head. She's got great feet too.

I cant stress what an uncomplicated, unflappable mare this girl is. She is going to be very special indeed.

Shes been out to the beach today where she loaded perfectly, and behaved impeccably on the beach. Wasn't phased by the sea and just loved splashing about and having fun.

We'd ideally like to see her go to someone who's had a trotter before, but she is genuine enough to go to anyone as long as they are experienced horse owners. She is amazing fun, and just takes everything in her stride. She is cool, calm and uncomplicated.
